Benefits of Shrink Bands • Deterrent to product tampering • Combine two packages or parts • Can serve as labels • Suitable for glass, plastic or metal containers • Can be decorated • Fits most styles of containers including rectangular and other unique shapes Some Important Considerations when Choosing a Shrink Band:
Heat Shrink Bands Heat Shrink Bands are made from clear PVC and when heat is applied by an air gun or a heat tunnel, the band shrinks around the closure and the neck of a bottle. Heat Shrink Bands are also ideal for holding two objects together. They are easy to use, and economical. Please call us for more information on Heat Shrink Bands. Wet Shrink Bands or Cellulose Seals Wet Shrink Bands are easy to apply with no special machinery or heat required. As they dry, they shrink and apply a continuing pressure that holds the closure in place. Cellulose bands are tubular in shape and are kept wet in special shipping containers. They are applied wet and shrink as they dry into a form-fitting seal. They do not leave any residue and are biodegradable but tough and durable. Interested in Learning More?
